Indirect aircraft control systems
Kalný, Jan ; Trefilová, Helena (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is concerned with the description of selected elements in aircraft control systems and their integration into the aforementioned systems. Included with this concern are regulatory requirements for system reliability. Further work is focused on contemporary trends in the development of modern aircraft control systems. The final section consists of aircraft statistical surveys by use of aircraft control systems.
Application for the HAWK regulator
Kvasnička, Petr ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of intelligent buildings management and practical use of the control system HAWK from company Honeywell. The thesis describes the basic problem of intelligent building management, exactly why they created and how it is possible to implement building automation, including a listing of available equipment that can be used in these systems. The thesis also discusses one of the systems that can be used for building control. The control system is called HAWK and thesis describes the programming environment and connectable peripherals. For a given control system is formed in the scrubbing practical demonstration device wind tunnel, which is shown using the work of the control system.
SYSTEMS OF AUTOMATION IN SMART BUILDINGS, DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A RELAY MODULE
Advanced Control Algorithms of Powertrain Units
Špičák, Milan ; Puškár, Michal (referee) ; Slimařík,, Dušan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis describes computational control of vehicle powertrains using common variable, engine torque. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first one shows design of methods for torque estimation using known or measured variables on the vehicle. The second part contains design of powertrain control algorithm utilizing the engine torque as a common variable among individual modules. The third part describes experimental optimization of the longitudinal acceleration of a vehicle using torque control.
Embedded Control Unit for Instrumentation of Laboratory Appliance
Voda, Zbyšek ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is modular design of control system for Golem device, which is used for drug research. Several modules with specified controlled area were designed. They communicate using CAN bus and are controlled by Raspberry Pi computer. The thesis includes PCB design and control firmware for modules, backend application for Raspberry Pi, which provides application interface, and simple protocol used for communication between modules. Designed system was tested in simulated environment.
Smart materials in aviation
Riger, Rostislav ; Jetela, Václav (referee) ; Klement, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with smart materials and their applications in aviation. The theoretical part explains what we mean by the term smart materials and what we want to achieve with their use. Further, these materials are sorted according to the principle of their function and described. The practical part is focused on specific applications of smart materials in aviation. Sometimes these are only theoretical applications that have not yet been used.
ABB RobotStudio - sample control program for stationary robot
Machala, Jan ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create sample control program executing sequence of robot movements and then its implementation on real robot IRB 120. For communication between robot and PLC was used program created in integrated development environment Microsoft Visual Studio. In the introduction are briefly described history of robotics and categories of robots. In the following chapters are described company ABB Group, its products and company B&R Automation and its products focused on control systems. Next chapters describe the solution of the given laboratory task and briefly explain settings of the individual programs. The thesis attachment contains video of the working project tested on real robot.
Dynamic Software Architectures for Distributed Embedded Control Systems
Optimization of operation of renewable electric energy sources based on fuel cells, accumulators and FV panels for small powers.
Holeček, Martin ; Maršík, František (advisor) ; Beran, Zdeněk (referee)
The first part of the research is motivated to provide citations deeper to the literature of optimal control principles that could be linked to the system optimization problem, discuss these principles and various ways to apply them. Then we describe one fuel cell, accumulator and photovoltaic standalone system along with the most used equations from the literature. Next, we formulate the problem of optimal control for this system to optimize the system financial cost in the best case and we process to describe and discuss the numerical optimal control algorithm - multiple shooting - that will be used to solve the problem, that was not used in literature so far in conjunction with the problem. The codes and numerical simulations are also provided. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
